Managed to turn the pulley around so that there was a flange on either side of the belt. I then managed 93 mph before it gave up. I got to max revs with the long pipe in 2nd so looks good. Now I need to try and shorten the pipe while on power in 2nd

Bit of an improvement. 89 with the Inc car and managed to get 2nd just then the pulleys gave up. 96.7 with the electric and that was Max revs. Just trying again with 6 second ramp

IC open car ready for testing again with new pulleys and belts. Looks like the rain will be here until Thursday

Just checked out the timing gear. One loose wire on one of the plugs. Everything is fine now.
