The airport manager's wife took that pic.... he said she'd never be able to get a pic since the car moved so fast. She was determined to prove him wrong.
I agree that it so very well captures what we do.
The down side is that a few hundred feet later it ran out of radio and went off the end of the strip and over a 50' cliff (who puts a cliff at the end of an airstrip?
) flying about 100' through dense trees before landing in a gully...beaten and bruised but repairable. It took me 10 minutes just to find it!!!
Oh, the scenery is the price I must pay for living in Northern California......
