A few things I'd to add;
#1-- (Some of you already know this) I have fond that using less caster, helps straight-line stability. On the Bullet I ran 0' caster.
#2-- This one is specifically for for the Camarillo Airport in California; The surface is bumpy for a speed run car, especially 1/10th scale or smaller. 1/8 scale GT cars seem to have no problem at all there. Having the correct spring-rate to damping is a big plus, but I believe that the 15mm to 25mm chassis height is a huge contributor to success.
Moral of the story, if you have a 10th scale car = you'll need high ground clearance.
